DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

The procedure listed below is for the RH side.
1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB CAP RH
|
(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the reclining adjuster knob cap.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
|
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING RELEASE LEVER
|
(a) Remove the 3 screws and rear seat reclining release lever.
|
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER NO. 3
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat cushion hinge cover.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER NO. 2
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat cushion hinge cover.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)
|
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors and disengage the 7 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.
|
7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Cut the cable tie.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the seat cushion spring.
|
(c) Cut the cable tie to remove the cable from the seat cushion spring.
|
(d) Disengage the claw and remove the cable from the frame.
|
(e) Remove the 2 bolts.
|
(f) Using a T45 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 bolts and 2 bushes. Then remove the rear No. 1 seat cushion assembly.
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY RH
|
(a) Disengage the hooks and remove the rear seat cushion spring assembly.
|
9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
|
(a) Remove the 11 hog rings and separate type rear seat cushion cover.
|
10. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)
|
(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater to the seat cushion cover, and then remove the seat cushion heater from the seat cushion cover.

11. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER
(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seatback lock striker cover.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.
|
(b) Disconnect the cable and remove the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly.
14. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST CAP (w/ Armrest)
|
(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear No. 1 seat armrest cap.
|
15. REMOVE SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Armrest)
|
(a) Remove the bolt and seat armrest assembly.
|
16. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Disengage the 7 clips and remove the rear seatback board sub-assembly.
17. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER NO. 1
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 3 claws and clip and remove the rear seat cushion hinge cover.
18. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER RH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear seat cushion hinge cover.
19. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER RH

(a) Remove the 3 screws and rear seat cushion under cover.
|
20. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports.
21. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
|
(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.
|
|
(b) Disengage the hooks.
|
|
(c) Disengage the hooks and remove the seatback cover with pad.
|
22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER
|
(a) Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type rear seatback cover from the seatback pad.
|
23. REMOVE SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)
|
(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater to the seatback cover ,and then remove the seatback heater from the seatback cover.
|
24. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER NO. 1 LH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the claw and remove the rear seat reclining cover.
25. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER LH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the claw and remove the rear seat reclining cover.
26. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER RH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear seat reclining cover.
27. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
|
(a) Disconnect the 2 cables from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.
|
|
(b) Disconnect the 2 cables from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.
|
|
(c) Disconnect the cable from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.
|
|
(d) Using a T45 "TORX" socket, remove the 5 bolts and rear seatback frame sub-assembly.

28. REMOVE REAR BACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
|
(a) Remove the E ring.
|
(b) Remove the bolt and 2 nuts and rear back lock control lever sub-assembly.
29. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
|
(a) Remove the nut and rear seat cushion lock striker sub-assembly.
|
30. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER
|
(a) Remove the 2 screws and rear seat reclining cover.
|
31. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
|
(a) Remove the cables from the No. 1 seat cushion cover.
|
(b) Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 seat cushion cover.
32. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH
|
(a) Remove the screw and rear seatback cover.
|
(b) Cut the cable tie and remove the cable.
33. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH
|
(a) Remove the screw and rear seatback cover.
|
34. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL NO. 2 CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Disconnect the cable.
|
35. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL NO. 2 CABLE
|
(a) Cut the cable tie and remove the rear seat reclining control No. 2 cable and rear seatback lock control No. 1 cable sub-assembly
|
36. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY RH
|
(a) Disconnect the cable.
|
37. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY LH
|
(a) Disconnect the cable.
|
38. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING NO. 1
|
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat cushion spring and rear seat cushion support bracket.
|
39. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY INNER RH
|
(a) Remove the nut and rear No. 1 seat adjuster assembly.
|
40. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY OUTER RH
|
(a) Remove the 3 nuts and rear No. 1 seat adjuster assembly.
|
41. REMOVE REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE RH
|
(a) Slide the slide rail to the rearmost position.
|
(b) Using a small screwdriver, push down the handle stopper to disengage the claw and remove the adjusting handle.
HINT:
Insert the screwdriver in the hole shown in the illustration, while looking into the hole.
